Full job description

We have a vacancy for someone to assist the General Manager in the day to day running of a busy nightclub and pub.

The candidate must have at least 2 years of nightclub management experience ideally with a BIIAB Personal Alcohol License Level 2, and possess the following attributes:

Strong Leadership & Communication Skills
Knowledge of the Licensing Regulations and how to apply them in the workplace
Staff Training and Monitoring of staff performance
Work well under pressure with the ability to lead a team in a calm and professional manner.
Flexibility to offer staff cover when no other staff available to cover.
Liasing with the General Manager with a proactive, company focus approach.
Good Numeracy and Literacy skills
Confident, honest and reliable. Trustworthy as a keyholder.
Customer Service skills, ability to be friendly but professional.
An understanding and willingness to adapt to how an Independent business runs apposed to a corporate chain.

The job role includes but is not restricted to:

Cellar Management
Cashing up tills
Ordering from local suppliers
Supervising bar staff on shift
Managing sickness and arranging cover
Ad-hoc maintenance when situations arise
Floorwalking during club open hours
Managing Door Staff on shift
Ensuring Responsible Service of Alcohol
Assisting intoxicated customers in a professional & sympathetic manner
Dealing with customer complaints
Performing apprasals & disiplinaries

*The job role does not come with accommodation so would suit someone who lives local to the Bournemouth area or is intending on moving to the area independently.*

Pay: From £32,000.00 per year

Bournemouth, Dorset: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
