Aim of the Gardener

To learn how to maintain the hotel gardens, kitchen garden, nursery, grounds and golf course to the highest possible condition, working amongst a team of gardeners

Gardener - About you

Experience in hard landscaping construction including fencing and paving
Experience in high end garden maintenance
Experience using a range of gardening tools and machinery safely and effectively
Hold a Pa1 and Pa6 qualifications desirable
A good understanding of plant care, pruning, and garden presentation to a consistently high standard
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
A full UK driving licence is essential

Responsibilities of the Gardener

You take genuine pride in creating and maintaining beautifully presented outdoor spaces that enhance the guest experience
Passionate about gardens, landscaping and the natural environment, with a strong eye for detail and design
You understand the importance of presentation within a luxury hospitality environment and consistently work to the highest standards
Reliable, positive and hardworking, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
