Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Internal Service Co-ordinator to oversee and streamline internal support functions within our organisation. This role requires a candidate with strong logistical understanding, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will play a vital part in maintaining operational efficiency across various departments, including warehouse, service department, and supply chain management. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to organisational excellence while developing specialised skills in logistics, equipment maintenance, and systems management.

Duties

Coordinate and manage internal service requests related to equipment repairs, maintenance, and logistics operations.
Utilise Field Motion software to plan engineers work
Maintain and update CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) records for asset management.
Liaise with service manager and service team to coordinate repairs, parts procurement, and service scheduling.
Manage supply chain activities including inventory control, procurement, and stock replenishment.
Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to optimise costs and service levels.
Quote mechanical repairs as required, leveraging mechanical knowledge.
Support logistics planning for internal movements of goods or equipment across facilities.
Perform data entry tasks related to inventory, maintenance logs, or shipping documentation.
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards during all operational activities.

Requirements

Proven experience in service operations, or similar like automotive repair environments.
Familiarity with work excel outlook and field service software.
Mechanical knowledge relevant to equipment repair and service procedures.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent negotiation skills for vendor interactions and procurement processes.
Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
Competence in data entry and utilisation of logistics-related software tools.
Previous experience working with service is desirable.
Ability to work independently whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. This role offers an engaging environment for individuals eager to develop their expertise in internal service supporting operational excellence across diverse functions within the organisation.

Pay: £24,420.00-£33,000.00 per year
