Proff Global Ltd is looking to recruit a skilled and reliable ElectricalTechnician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for anexperienced technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills,particularly in commercial refrigeration equipment.The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance,fault-finding, and repairs on refrigeration units including fridges, freezers,and coolers, both in-house and at customer premises.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults, service, repair, and maintain commercial fridges,freezers, and coolers
- Carry out electrical testing, troubleshooting, and fault-finding onrefrigeration equipment
- Install replacement parts and ensure equipment is operating safelyand efficiently
- Attend customer premises to carry out repair and maintenance workas required
- Travel to different customer locations for scheduled and emergencyrepair jobs
- Complete service reports and maintenance records accurately
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safetyregulations
- Provide excellent customer service while on site with clients
- Work independently as well as part of a team to meet servicedeadlines
- Respond flexibly to varying shift patterns depending on operationalneeds
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience as an Electrical Technician, RefrigerationTechnician, or similar roleExperience repairing and maintaining fridges, freezers, andcooling equipment
- Strong electrical fault-finding and repair skills
- Ability to travel to customer locations for service and repair visits
- Good practical problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures relating to electrical andrefrigeration equipment
