You will be responsible for leading and managing the station team to deliver a safe, secure and welcoming environment, ensuring full compliance with operational, safety and security standards. This includes acting as a visible role model and mentor, supporting colleague development through performance monitoring and competency assessment, and maintaining high standards of customer service. You will lead emergency, evacuation and incident responses, manage security risks, oversee station inspections, and ensure all legislative, industry and company health, safety and environmental requirements are met.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including route teams, train and freight operating companies, contractors and retail partners, you will maintain station facilities and services in line with Station Access Agreements. You will manage staff resources and rosters, implement contingency plans within budget, oversee contractor compliance and risk assessments, and carry out non-technical checks of works in progress to ensure landlord conditions are met. Through effective collaboration, planning and assurance, you will play a key role in improving safety, preventing criminal activity and enhancing the overall customer experience at the station.

Salary - £43,588
