We are seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeper / Cleaner to join our team at a private family home on the outskirts of Louth. Working alongside other household staff, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the home and maintaining high standards throughout the property and grounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Following and completing daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Maintaining the kitchen to a high standard, including general upkeep and organisation.
- Tidying and organising children's toys and play areas as required.
- Ensuring lounge areas, dining rooms, and other living spaces are kept clean, tidy, and presented to an exceptional standard.
- Laundry duties, including washing, ironing, folding, and organising clothing and household linens.
- Cleaning and maintaining cloakrooms and bathrooms, including replenishing toiletries and supplies where necessary.
- Assisting with general household organisation and making arrangements as required.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Strong communication skills.
- Well organised, reliable, and trustworthy, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining a consistently high standard of work.
- Proactive approach and ability to manage household tasks independently.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
Hours and Flexibility
We are open to considering both part-time and full-time applicants for the right person. Flexibility is essential, as working hours may vary to meet the needs of the family. We are looking for someone who can adapt their schedule when required and become a valued, long-term member of the household team.
