Full job description

Weston Park Care Home is looking to recruit full-time / part-time Care Assistants for night duties . The home has 102 beds for the elderly, and is split into 3 units. These units comprise of dementia, residential and nursing clients.

Specific Duties Include:

Provides support and encouragement to residents in all areas / activities of daily living.
Ensure the respect, dignity and rights to privacy of residents as far as possible.
Contributes to the assessment of residents needs and the development of individualised plans of care and support in consultation with residents, their relatives and the Care Team.
Act as an associate worker for an identified resident.
Works with the care and support team to deliver high standards of service to achieve planned goals.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Minimum NVQ level 2 in Care or equivalent care qualification or willing to work towards.
Experience in a care / support or service related setting preferred.
Positive, can-do attitude.
Team Player.
