Full job description

Tameside College is recruiting on behalf of multiple employers for several Apprentice Panel Repair Technician vacancies within the motor vehicle repair industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin a career in vehicle body repair and accident repair. Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience within a professional bodyshop environment while working towards a recognised Level 3 apprenticeship qualification.

Key Duties May Include:

Assisting with vehicle panel repairs and replacements
Preparing vehicles for repair and refinishing
Removing and refitting body panels and components
Supporting experienced technicians with repair work
Using specialist tools and equipment safely
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following health and safety procedures at all times

Desired Skills & Requirements:

GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent qualifications) preferred
Previous experience within the motor vehicle sector is desirable
Completion of a relevant college course or motor vehicle qualification is preferred
Genuine interest in vehicle body repair and the automotive industry
Good practical skills and willingness to learn
Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team

Tameside College will be interviewing candidates on behalf of the employers and supporting successful applicants through the apprenticeship recruitment process.

This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain valuable industry experience while earning and learning towards a recognised qualification.

Pay: £8.00 per hour
