Full job description

Main purpose of the role

Newly renovated Restaurant with Rooms, to be launched in phases later this year. Responsible for overseeing the residential aspect of the property, including looking after private parties and overseeing rooms and housekeeping, whilst acting as the General Manager’s second-in-command.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Leadership: Directly oversee room bookings and availability, housekeeping and cover for the General Manager in their absence.
Day-to-Day Operations: Primary on-site problem solver, with a heavy focus on the actual execution of services and handling day-to-day operations throughout the rooms, restaurant and bar.
Resident Relations: Serve as the primary contact for guest complaints, check in and departures and any specific requests, ensuring a high-standard throughout.
Guest Experiences: Ensure front of house services are of a high standard, and work alongside the team to provide a great service across stays, dining and drinking elements of the property.
Financial Oversight: Primarily focus on room occupancy and sales, but also assist the General Manager with meeting targets set for the business as a whole.
Private Residents Front of House: Manage all requests prior to arrival and coordinate specific requests for private guests dining with us and being the main front of house lead serving them.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Typically, 5+ years of progressive management experience in hospitality, with experience at a management level.
Skills: Exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Pay: From £40,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
