Mobile Field Engineer – SOS Hose Services

Location: North Wales & North West
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

SOS Hose Services are looking for a Mobile Field Engineer to join our growing team, providing on-site hydraulic hose replacement and repair services to customers across the region.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, travelling to different sites and solving problems out in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair hydraulic hose and related equipment
Replace hydraulic hoses on-site
Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections
Respond to breakdowns and provide a reliable, professional service
Complete job sheets and maintain accurate records
Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle to a high standard
Follow all company health & safety procedures

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Mechanically minded and confident working with tools and equipment
Experienced in hydraulics, plant, agricultural or similar industries (desirable)
Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
Customer-focused with good communication skills
Reliable, practical and able to work under pressure
Willing to travel to customer sites as required
Full UK driving licence required

Full training can be provided for the right candidate, although previous hydraulic or mechanical experience would be an advantage.
