Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across our commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial services and a keen eye for detail, ensuring environments are hygienic, safe, and welcoming for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work within a professional setting, contributing to the overall appearance and hygiene of our facilities.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and used correctly.
Follow specified cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are covered efficiently.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities to management promptly.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good organisational skills and reliability.
Physical fitness to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning activities is advantageous.
