Full job description

Purpose

To establish Warwick Engineering’s dedicated business development function, building trusted relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, procurement and contract management teams, and repeat clients. This role will strengthen tender pipeline quality, improve follow-up discipline, raise Warwick’s market profile, and convert more opportunities into secured work in line with the company’s growth plan.

Role Overview

· Key internal interfaces: Estimating, Design, Production, Site teams, Directors, and any external marketing support.

· Hybrid, client-facing role with regular travel across NI, GB and ROI for meetings, site visits, networking events and framework engagement.

Role Context and Development Pathway

Warwick’s next phase of growth requires a more structured, proactive approach to client development, tender targeting, follow-up and digital presence. This is a new role for the business and will create a consistent front-end sales function to support repeat work, improve access to Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractor opportunities, and strengthen long-term market visibility.

· Immediate business need: structured client engagement, better tender follow-up, stronger opportunity qualification, and improved online market presence.

· Planned progression: Business Development Manager → Senior Business Development / Commercial Manager (subject to growth and performance).

· Development exposure built into the role: framework engagement, key account planning, CRM discipline, bid strategy input, marketing campaigns, and market intelligence.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
Authorized to work in United Kingdom

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm
Friday 8am-2pm
