About us

Kilcreggan Homes provides high quality care and support to adults with learning difficulty, autistic spectrum condition and / or acquired brain injury. We are seeking to employ support workers for the Mid Ulster area.

We would like to recruit a number of support workers, both full time and part time, for an immediate start at a new enhanced rate, based on 38 hour per week. We are looking for empathetic and caring staff who share our values and have a desire to help improve and add to the quality of life and well being of our tenants and service users. We believe that well-being at work is about creating an environment that allows employees to flourish and achieve their full potential.

We are a registered charity that provides person centred services to people who have learning disabilities, autism and acquired brain injury.

Main duties:

To support tenants in daily living tasks in their home.
To provide one to one support to our tenants and service users with a broad range of learning disabilities and autistic spectrum conditions.
To work as part of our team to ensure Kilcreggan continues to provide opportunities for our service users to lead lives they choose.

Essential criteria:

Understand what it means to provide support in a person centred way.
Be able to demonstrate that you have skills and attributes required to enhance the client's lives.
You will be expected to undertake training up to NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
You must have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this post.

Desirable criteria:

Registered with NISCC.
Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
Experience in working with clients with complex needs.
Have experience of working in care or support.
