Full job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Health & Safety Administrator to join our team and support the effective delivery of health and safety services across our organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in health and safety administration, looking to grow their career within a dynamic, multi-disciplined environment.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:
- Manage Health & Safety files
- Complete and maintain risk assessments
- Log incidents and ensure appropriate follow-up
- Handle day-to-day health and safety requirements
Record-Keeping & Reporting:
- Maintain compliance and training trackers
- Generate regular reports
- Support with GDPR documentation
- Update fire safety and accident logs
Training Coordination:
- Schedule training with external providers
- Maintain and update the training matrix
- Ensure certifications are up to date and correctly filed
Team Support:
- Assist the Senior Health & Safety Advisor, Managers, and Directors
- Support system and documentation management
- Take part in inspections and Health & Safety Committee meetings
- Liaise with external contacts where required

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
- Previous experience in a health and safety admin role, ideally within a large, multi-disciplined organisation
- Access to a car and a full, clean UK driving licence
- Ability to prioritize workload, communicate well, and handle confidential information appropriately.
Desirable:
- Experience in sectors such as property, construction, or related fields
