Job Description:

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bakery Assistant to join our gluten-free bakery team. This role involves preparing high-quality baked goods for distribution to our stores across Mid Ulster. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining consistency, quality, and food safety in a specialist gluten-free environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and production of gluten-free baked goods
Accurately follow recipes and production guidelines
Prepare and pack orders for delivery to multiple store locations
Maintain strict gluten-free handling procedures to avoid cross-contamination
Ensure high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness at all times
Label, store, and handle products correctly
Support stock control, ingredient preparation, and rotation
Keep workstations clean, organised, and compliant with food safety regulations
Work efficiently to meet daily production targets

Requirements:

Previous bakery or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
Strong attention to detail, particularly around gluten-free processes
Ability to follow instructions and work to precise recipes
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Understanding of food hygiene standards
