Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Also must have experience using a Mag Drill . This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical expertise in TIG welding, sheet metal work, and mechanical assembly within a dynamic environment. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all projects.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on various metals, including sheet metal components
Fabricate metal parts according to technical drawings and specifications
Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials accurately
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise fabrication and assembly
Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet safety and quality standards
Assist in the maintenance of equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently

Experience

Proven experience in TIG welding and general fabrication within a manufacturing or workshop setting
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various hand tools and power tools
Experience working with and understanding of fabrication processes
Must have experience in using mag drill
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical drawings
Familiarity with assembly processes and the use of various welding equipment is highly desirable
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
