Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a professional hospitality environment, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms according to company standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms.
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management.
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment.
Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens as required.
Assist with laundry duties when necessary.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used properly and stored securely after use.
Provide excellent customer service by responding courteously to guest requests or inquiries.

Experience

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality is highly desirable.
Janitorial experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous.
A strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment.
