About Us

Fitter Body Ladies Maidenhead is a ladies-only fitness studio dedicated to helping women over 30 improve their fitness, confidence, strength, and overall wellbeing through coaching, accountability, and community.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and people-focused individual to join our team in a part-time Sales & Fitness Instructor role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys both coaching and building relationships, helping new ladies start their fitness journey while delivering exceptional coaching sessions in the studio.

This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within a rapidly expanding fitness business, with opportunities to increase coaching hours and take on additional responsibilities as the studio continues to grow.

The Role

This is a hybrid role combining membership sales, customer care, and fitness coaching.

Sales Responsibilities

The sales element of the role is primarily remote and flexible. Approximately 30 hours per month will be allocated to sales activities, with the majority of these hours typically concentrated during the last two weeks of each month, when lead follow-up and new member enrolment activity is highest.

Following up promptly with warm leads by telephone, text and WhatsApp
Having friendly, consultative conversations about each person’s goals and challenges
Explaining the benefits of our 28-Day Challenge clearly and confidently
Handling common questions and concerns with empathy
Booking appointments and helping suitable prospects join the programme
Updating our CRM accurately so every contact’s progress is clearly recorded
Following an agreed sales process and maintaining regular follow-up
Working towards individual sales and conversion targets
Communicating with the local studio team to ensure a smooth experience for new members

Fitness Instructor Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, supportive, and professional women-only group fitness sessions.
Coach members of different fitness levels, providing modifications and progressions where required.
Create a welcoming, positive, and non-intimidating training environment.
Support members with technique, motivation, accountability, and confidence-building.
Assist with member inductions, progress reviews, and fitness assessments.
Ensure all sessions are delivered safely and professionally.

Key Performance Expectations

The successful candidate will be expected to:

Achieve a minimum of 10 new membership sales per month.
Consistently follow up and nurture leads.
Deliver excellent member experiences and coaching standards.
Contribute positively to member retention and community engagement.

Coaching Availability Required

The successful candidate must be available to coach at least one of the following sessions:

Monday: 6:00am, 7:00am or 9:30am
Wednesday: 9:30am
Thursday: 6:00am
Saturday: 8:00am and/or 9:15am

Coaching hours will initially start at approximately 1–2 sessions per week, with the potential to increase significantly as the studio grows.

Requirements

Essential

Passion for helping women improve their health, fitness, and confidence.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Confidence speaking on the phone and conducting sales conversations.
Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven.
Professional, reliable, and positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Be available at times when prospective members are most likely to answer, including some evenings
Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification (minimum) or willingness to obtain one before commencing coaching duties.

Desirable

Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.
Previous group fitness coaching experience.
Previous sales, customer service, or membership sales experience.
Experience using CRM and booking systems.
