Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with various construction tasks across multiple projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are maintained. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry and develop a broad skill set. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to contribute to diverse building projects, from residential to commercial developments.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and clearing of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials.
Support skilled tradespeople such as roofers, plumbers, welders, electricians, carpenters, masons, and painters in their daily tasks.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
Help with the installation of roofing, plumbing systems, electrical wiring, plastering, masonry work, and fabrication tasks as required.
Follow schematics and technical drawings to assist with construction activities.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Assist with site safety procedures and report any hazards or issues promptly.

Skills

Strong physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy loads (up to 40 pounds) and perform manual labour throughout the day.
Valid CSCS card.
Good organisational skills with an eye for safety protocols on-site.
Prior construction experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for specific tasks.
A proactive attitude with the willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.

Pay: £140.00-£150.00 per day
