Scapes Group Ltd. is a privately-owned facilities management business providing communal cleaning and grounds maintenance services to a range of residential settings throughout the south east. Our teams serve a large number of housing associations and their customers, while also working with offices, residential care homes, private estates and local authorities.
We are looking for an energetic and committed Working Supervisor to join our dedicated team covering the North Kent area (this will involve extensive driving around a wide geographical area), and who therefore lives in/around Maidstone.
The successful candidate will assist the Contracts Manager in ensuring that our teams deliver a wide range of services, in a safe and efficient way. They will also help ensure that we provide a high quality, value for money service that meets our clients and their residents’ expectations at all times.
The ideal candidate will have previous working supervisory experience within the cleaning sector (ideally with housing associations or similar). You will be a keen team-player with a positive can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the inducting & training of staff
- Carry out site audits and ensure resident satisfaction; report any issues arising from these to the Contracts Manager
- Support a team of operatives to ensure their duties are carried out to the required company standards
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are followed on sites and that all staff have adequate PPE and stock
- Cover the day-to-day duties of absent staff members as and when required
- Report any absences or changes of staffing
- Communicate regularly with all teams on a variety of matters
Essential Requirements:
- Pro-active and committed to providing an excellent service
- Previous supervisory experience in a similar role
- Well-versed in all cleaning methodologies and procedures
- Full UK manual Driving licence
Working hours are usually 8.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week.
We offer a competitive salary starting from £28,080.00 per annum, dependant on relevant experience, a company van & phone, 28 days paid holiday, pension scheme and the opportunity to work in a great team within a growing organisation.
