Fire and Security Engineer Package Overview:
- £32,000 - £36,000 Per Annum (Depending on skill level & experience)
- Full-Time
- Monday to Friday
- Area Covered: Kent & South East
- All Levels of experience considered, must have basic knowledge of installation, repairs and servicing.
- This salary is inclusive of all hours required to perform your duties. No additional payments will be made for overtime worked.
- Monthly retainer of £150 paid in addition to salary for on call rota.
Fire and Security Engineer Role and Responsibilities:
- Install, Service & Repair a wide range of Fire & Security systems including Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV & Access Control Systems on commercial and residential sites.
- Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions in security systems.
- Deliver technical support and assistance to end-users.
- Operate on high-profile and prestigious client sites.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all completed tasks and service activities.
- Comply with all health and safety guidelines and regulations.
Fire and Security Engineer Skills and Experience Required:
- A full UK driving licence (Essential)
- Proven experience in Fire & Security, with practical expertise in the installation, servicing, and repair of fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV systems.
- Solid understanding of Fire & Security system installation methods, equipment, and tools, along with a good working knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Knowledge of a range of manufacturers.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Flexible and adaptable to varying work hours.
