Traffic Management Operative
Location: Southeast
As a Traffic Management Operative, you are responsible for installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management on roads
You will help by:
- Installing and Decommissioning Multiway Lights.
- Setup and removal of road closures.
- Setup and removal of Signage.
- Setup and removal of frames and sandbags.
- Working as an individual and as a part of team to achieve targets and KPI’s.
You will need:
- M1/M2/M5 as a minimum
- Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your licence.
- Full knowledge of Chapter 8 inc. safety zones, cones, lamps and tapers
- Hold a valid NRSWA street works operative.
- Hold or have held Openreach safety, overhead and underground cabling accreditation modules.
- Have extensive experience of working on UK Roads.
- Be able to work as an individual and as part of a team.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have ability to carry out risk assessments and hazard identification with a strong focus on Health and Safety practices.
- Ability to be flexible and able to work nights when required
