Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various residential and commercial properties. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment, providing essential cleaning services that meet client expectations. Prior experience in janitorial or hotel cleaning is advantageous, along with skills in cooking and customer service, which can enhance the quality of service provided. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to delivering excellent results.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and communal areas
Use appropriate cleaning tools and products to ensure surfaces are hygienic and presentable
Maintain organisation of cleaning supplies and equipment
Follow specific client instructions regarding cleaning priorities and special requests
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within scheduled timeframes
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor
Uphold health and safety standards at all times during cleaning activities
Provide friendly and professional customer service to clients, addressing any concerns or additional requests

Requirements

Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is preferred
Skills in cooking and customer service are beneficial but not essential
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
Reliable transportation or proximity to the work sites is advantageous
A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Willingness to adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
