Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for quality and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft delicious pizzas in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional meal preparation and food safety standards. Candidates should be enthusiastic about working in a dynamic kitchen setting and committed to delivering high standards of service.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications.
Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently to minimise waste.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety regulations.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, mixers, and preparation tools.
Assist in the preparation of other menu items as required, supporting overall kitchen operations.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and consistency.
Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt service during busy periods.
Uphold high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen environment.

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation, preferably within a restaurant or catering setting.
Knowledge of cooking techniques specific to pizza making is highly desirable.
Prior experience in a professional kitchen environment with a focus on meal preparation and food safety.
Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving customers and managing food orders, is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience working with culinary equipment such as pizza ovens, mixers, and knives is preferred.

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
