Summary
We are seeking a Joinery Manager to lead our property maintenance team across North Yorkshire and the wider areas. This pivotal role involves overseeing projects, ensuring quality standards and driving our company's mission of excellence and quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate property maintenance and refurbishment projects ensuring timely delivery.
- Be willing to work on the joinery elements of the project. It's a hands-on role.
- Manage and support a team of skilled tradespeople including carpenters, builders, electricians and plumbers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Develop project plans, budgets and schedules.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance service delivery.
- Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
- Promote a positive, energetic work environment aligned with company values.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property maintenance or construction management.
- Qualified Joiner with solid experience across traditional and modern practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
- Be able to confidently juggle multiple items at a time.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency with construction tools and techniques.
- Relevant certifications or licenses are required.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Be comfortable working on your own and in the office too.
We anticipate with the right person, we will be looking at making the role permanent.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £18.50-£25.00 per hour
