Full job description

We are a growing and well-established financial planning firm based in Cheltenham, providing mortgage and financial planning services to clients across the UK.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Mortgage & Financial Services Administrator to support our advisers and manage mortgage cases from initial enquiry through to completion.

This is primarily a home-based role, although the successful candidate will be required to attend meetings in Cheltenham or surrounding areas on a regular basis (typically at least once per week).

The Role

The successful candidate will take ownership of the end-to-end administration of mortgage cases, working closely with advisers, clients, lenders and solicitors to ensure applications progress efficiently and deliver an excellent client experience.

This position would suit an experienced mortgage administrator or mortgage professional who enjoys working independently and maintaining high standards of client service and case management.

Key Responsibilities

Managing mortgage applications from submission through to completion
Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors and providers
Chasing outstanding documentation and monitoring case progress
Maintaining accurate client records and compliance documentation
Using Intelligent Office (Intelliflo) to manage client and case information
Supporting advisers with mortgage and financial planning administration
Preparing documentation and correspondence for clients and providers
Ensuring all work is completed in line with regulatory and compliance requirements

Essential Requirements

CeMAP qualified
Recent experience within mortgage administration, mortgage processing or mortgage advice
Experience managing mortgage applications through the full application process
Previous experience using Intelligent Office (Intelliflo)
Strong understanding of UK mortgage products and lender processes
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently within a remote-working environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Full right to work in the UK

Additional Information

Applicants should be based within reasonable travelling distance of Cheltenham and able to attend meetings in person when required.
We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
