The Role
As a Junior Web Developer, you will support the development, maintenance and optimisation of websites across a variety of CMS platforms and client projects. You will work closely with our development, SEO and marketing teams to deliver high-quality, responsive and user-friendly websites.
This role is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for coding and technology who is looking to build commercial experience within a fast-paced agency environment.
You will have the opportunity to work on:

Junior candidates will receive support and guidance from senior team members, with opportunities to develop into a more advanced development role over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of client websites
- Build and update websites across WordPress, Shopify and other CMS platforms
- Support front-end development using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Assist with back-end functionality and PHP development tasks
- Work collaboratively with SEO and PPC teams to implement website improvements
- Troubleshoot website issues and support ongoing maintenance tasks
- Ensure websites are responsive, functional and optimised across devices
- Participate in internal project meetings and development planning
- Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and development best practices
Requirements
Essential Skills:
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Basic understanding of PHP and JavaScript
- Familiarity with WordPress and/or Shopify
- Basic understanding of MySQL databases
- Familiarity with hosting environments such as Plesk or cPanel
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Interest in web technologies and modern development practices
- Ability to showcase a website, app or coding project you have built
Desirable Skills:
- Experience using version control systems such as Git
- Understanding of website performance optimisation
- Familiarity with APIs or third-party integrations
- Knowledge of responsive design principles
- Interest in AI-assisted development tools and workflows
- Familiarity with Google Workspace tools

Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
