Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Factory Worker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting production processes, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained throughout operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within a dynamic environment focused on safety and manufacturing excellence. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to contribute to a busy production line while adhering to strict hygiene protocols.

Duties

Operate various production equipment with attention to safety and efficiency
Assist in the preparation and assembly of products according to company standards
Ensure compliance with HACCP and other food safety regulations at all times
Conduct routine quality checks and report any issues immediately
Maintain cleanliness of work areas in line with hygiene standards
Support in the movement of ingredients and finished products within the facility
Perform basic mechanical tasks, such as troubleshooting minor equipment faults
Record production data accurately using basic maths skills for measurements and quantities

Requirements

Prior experience or knowledge is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Basic understanding of production processes and safety standards
Mechanical knowledge or aptitude for handling equipment maintenance is desirable
Ability to perform basic maths calculations accurately in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods and lifting moderate loads
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow strict health and safety guidelines
Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
