Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our growing clinical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services, supporting patient rehabilitation, and contributing to the development of treatment programmes across a diverse patient base.

Duties

Assess, diagnose, and develop individualised treatment plans for patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopaedic conditions
Plan and apply therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, massage, mobilisation, and exercise-based rehabilitationPromote and encourage movement and physical activity to restore function and prevent further injuryUtilise hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, and other specialised equipment as part of treatment programmesMonitor patient progress, review outcomes, and adapt treatment plans accordinglyWork collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient careMaintain accurate clinical records in line with regulatory and professional standardsProvide guidance and support to junior staff and physiotherapy assistants where requiredEnsure compliance with health and safety, clinical governance, and infection control protocolsParticipate in continuous professional development and contribute to service improvement initiatives
Skills
Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised qualification
Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)Proven experience working at Band 5 or Band 6 level in a clinical settingStrong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsDesirable Requirements
Experience in private practice or community-based physiotherapyPostgraduate training or specialist interest in MSK, sports injury, or rehabilitationExperience supervising junior staff or students.
