Job Overview
This is a hands-on production role within a busy workshop environment producing personalised products for customers across multiple sales channels.
Spoken Gifts is a high-volume production business. Our focus is on producing quality products efficiently, consistently and on time. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards whilst meeting production targets.
You will work across a range of production equipment including laser engravers, fibre lasers, UV printers and heat press equipment. Full training will be provided on our machinery.
Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring multiple production machines
- Setting up production jobs using computer software
- Loading and unloading products from machinery
- Quality checking finished products
- Prioritising workflow to maintain efficient production
- Carrying out stock checks and inventory-related tasks
- Maintaining clean, organised and safe work areas
- Supporting continuous improvement in workshop processes
- Working with colleagues to achieve daily production targets
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in a production, manufacturing or workshop environment
- Be comfortable using computer software as part of a production process
- Have experience operating machinery or manufacturing equipment
- Understand the importance of efficiency, workflow and productivity
- Be highly organised and naturally tidy
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Take pride in producing consistently high-quality work
- Work well as part of a team
- Be reliable, punctual and self-motivated
- Be comfortable standing and moving around during the working day
- Be willing to learn multiple production methods and machines
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous, although full training will be provided:
- Laser engraving equipment
- UV printing
- Heat press equipment
- Manufacturing or workshop software
- Adobe Photoshop or similar graphics software
- Inventory or stock control systems
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices

Pay: £12.71 per hour
