Elite Sign Solutions is an established signage and branding company based in Manchester, delivering high-quality signage, vehicle graphics, wall graphics, window manifestations, illuminated signs, exhibition displays, online print products and large-format print solutions for clients across the UK.
We are looking for a talented, creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Signage Designer & Artworker to join our growing team. This is a varied role combining graphic design, artwork preparation, signage design, website content management and occasional production support.
Key Responsibilities
● Create high-quality artwork for signage, vehicle graphics, wall graphics, window graphics, exhibition displays and large-format print projects.
● Prepare production-ready artwork for printing, vinyl cutting, CNC routing and laser cutting.
● Design and amend customer artwork in line with brand guidelines and project specifications.
● Produce client proofs, visual mock-ups and presentation visuals for approval.
● Create 3D visualisations and concept renders using SketchUp or similar software to help clients visualise proposed signage solutions.
● Produce technical drawings, elevations and manufacturing files for production and installation purposes.
● Assist with site survey drawings, layout plans and signage placement proposals.
● Check and prepare files for large-format digital print production.
● Manage artwork revisions and maintain accurate project records.
● Ensure colour consistency, correct scaling and production suitability across all projects.
● Liaise with customers, project managers and production staff to ensure smooth project delivery.
● Work closely with installers and fabricators to ensure designs translate effectively from screen to finished signage.
● Assist the sales team with visuals, presentations and design proposals when required.
● Suggest innovative ideas and creative solutions for branding, layouts and sign-making techniques.
● Assist with website content updates, product creation and maintenance using WordPress and WooCommerce.
● Upload products, images and content while maintaining branding consistency and SEO best practices.
● Create graphics and promotional content for websites, social media and marketing campaigns.
● During busy periods, assist the production team with vinyl application, print finishing, packing, assembly, preparation of materials and other workshop duties as required.
What We’re Looking For
● Previous experience within a signage, print, vehicle graphics or large-format production environment.
● Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
● Excellent understanding of print production processes, colour management and artwork setup.
● Experience creating artwork for large-format printing and vinyl graphics.
● Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
● Strong communication and organisational skills.
● Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
● A positive attitude and willingness to learn new production techniques.
● Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
● Willingness to support other areas of the business when required.
Desirable Skills
● Experience using SketchUp or similar 3D visualisation software.
● Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar.
● Experience using WordPress and WooCommerce.
● Basic understanding of SEO and website content management.
● Understanding of illuminated signage, fabricated letters and bespoke sign construction methods.
● Knowledge of CNC routing, laser cutting and manufacturing processes.
● Ability to create scaled drawings, elevations and installation plans.
● Familiarity with large-format RIP software and print workflows.
● Experience creating content for social media and digital marketing campaigns.

Holiday Entitlement
The company closes during the Christmas and New Year period. Employees are required to retain sufficient annual leave entitlement to cover the business shutdown dates.
