The Carbon Padel Club is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Academy & Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing the organisation of club events, overseeing academy programmes, and delivering exceptional guest services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a flair for upselling, and strong communication abilities. Duties
- Coordinate and oversee all academy programmes, ensuring smooth delivery and participant satisfaction
- Plan, organise, and execute a variety of club events, including tournaments, social gatherings, and fundraising activities
- Upsell club memberships, event packages, and additional services to maximise revenue opportunities
- Manage bookings and schedules efficiently using organisational tools and software
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing enquiries promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote upcoming events through social media and other channels
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all equipment and materials are prepared in advance
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and participant details
- Support the development of new programmes or initiatives to enhance member engagement
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel management, or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Proven track record in organising events or programmes within a sports or leisure environment
- Strong upselling skills with the ability to maximise revenue opportunities effectively
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Outstanding communication skills to liaise with guests, members, vendors, and team members confidently
- Experience in fundraising activities or guest services roles is advantageous
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and customer service excellence is preferred
