Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Locksmith to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various locking systems across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This role requires attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service. The Locksmith will play a vital role in ensuring the security and safety of our clients' premises.

Duties

Install, repair, and replace locks, safes, and security systems in accordance with industry standards.
Conduct security assessments and advise clients on suitable locking solutions.
Cut keys and programme electronic access control systems as required.
Respond promptly to emergency lockout situations and provide effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order.
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during operations.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Locksmith or in a similar role within the security or maintenance sector.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in locksmithing or security systems are preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electronic locking mechanisms.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Valid driving licence is desirable for travelling between sites.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
