Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of swimming techniques. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in educating individuals of all ages on the fundamentals of swimming, ensuring their safety and fostering a love for the water.
Duties
- Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, tailored to various skill levels.
- Educate students on water safety, swimming techniques, and proper breathing methods.
- Develop lesson plans that are engaging and effective in promoting skill development.
- Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment during lessons, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance teaching skills.
Skills
- Strong ability to educate individuals in swimming techniques and water safety.
- Experience in sports coaching or related fields is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patience and adaptability to cater to different learning styles.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students of all ages.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Experience:
- Swim Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification or Equivilant (required)
