Summary

We are seeking a Labourer /Loader to join our team at our Halifax facility. This role is vital in supporting our fabrication and erection processes, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities

Receiving goods
Assisting in completion of orders on time, safely and to the correct quality standards.
Moving and Handling Steelwork safely and compliantly
Loading structural steel ready for distribution.
Complying with the company’s health and safety procedures
Operating Cranes
Using Forklift Trucks to move materials
Clearing of waste/scrap materials
Support with cleaning duties as required
Qualifications
· Must have a ‘C’ or equivalent in GCSE Maths & English

· Ability to read lists and drawings and works instructions

· Mechanical engineering qualifications or time worked apprenticeship

· Previous experience of working in a manufacturing / production / engineering environment

· Team player and willingness to get the job done

Able to communicate effectively
