Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified NVQ Level 3 Electrician to join our professional team in Solar PV installation and battery storage. If you haven't had the course, the company will be happy to pay for 3 days course locally. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, mainly Solar PV and ASHP, across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse electrical installations within commercial, industrial, and residential settings, ensuring all work complies with current safety standards and regulations. Responsibilities
- Installing, testing, and commissioning electrical systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Ensuring all electrical work is completed safely, adhering to health and safety legislation.
- Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance on existing electrical installations.
- Collaborating with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintaining detailed records of work carried out and materials used for each project.
- Assisting in the supervision of apprentices or junior staff when required.
Skills
- Proven experience as an Electrician with NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
- Strong electrical experience with a thorough understanding of current wiring regulations (BS7671).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in completing tasks accurately.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £29,028.45-£48,140.24 per year
