We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Teacher to join our small family run day Nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a genuine enthusiasm for working with children. This role is pivotal in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages early childhood development. The successful applicant will have experience in childcare or nursery settings, demonstrating effective communication skills and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely and effectively with the children and their parents/carers.
- Deliver an expert knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Deliver a proficient knowledge of Ofsted regulations and practices.
- Deliver inspiring activities which embrace children of all ages across the nursery.
- Work together with a highly motivated team.
- Work from your own initiative and independently as necessary.
- Develop practices alongside the management team, within our self-evaluative environment.

Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
- A background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Strong management skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications
- QTS
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents
- Leadership and management abilities to oversee room activities
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices
Pay: £29,120.00-£33,280.00 per year
