Spray Finisher & Workshop Technician
Warrington | Initially 2-3 Days Per Week | Potential for Full-Time
At Bespoke Spaces, we create high-end bespoke interiors for clients who want something exceptional.
One week we might be building a luxury dressing room. The next, a hidden bookcase door, a home office, children's playroom or a completely unique one-off project.
We're looking for somebody who can take ownership of our finishing department and become an important part of our growing workshop team.
The Role
The primary focus of this role is spray finishing.
You must already be capable of spraying furniture and furniture components to a consistently high standard using modern water-based finishing systems, including both primer and topcoat application.
We're not looking for somebody who wants to learn spraying from scratch. We need somebody who already takes pride in producing excellent finishes and can work independently.
Initially this role is expected to be around 2-3 days per week. However, there is potential for significantly more hours for somebody who is happy to become involved in other areas of the workshop.
This could include:
- Furniture assembly
- Hardware fitting
- Quality checking
- Protecting and preparing projects for installation
- Workshop organisation
- Supporting continuous improvement
- Occasional site support where required
What We're Looking For
The right person may come from a furniture finishing, joinery, cabinet making or specialist decorative finishes background.
Most importantly, we're looking for somebody who genuinely cares about quality.
The type of person who notices the details others miss.
The type of person who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a small, ambitious team.
Essential
- Experience spray finishing furniture or furniture components
- Ability to spray primer and topcoat systems to a high standard
- Strong preparation skills including filling and sanding
- Experience working with water-based finishing systems
- Ability to work independently
Desirable
- Experience with specialist decorative finishes
- Stone-effect finishes
- Metal-effect finishes
- Decorative paint effects
- Furniture assembly experience
- Cabinet making or joinery experience
About Us
Bespoke Spaces designs and builds high-end bespoke interiors from our Warrington workshop.
We create luxury dressing rooms, home offices, libraries, secret doors, children's rooms and unique one-off projects for clients across Cheshire, the North West and beyond.
Alongside Bespoke Spaces, we are developing Finishing Room - a dedicated finishing business that will provide specialist finishing services both internally and to external clients.
For the right person, this role offers the opportunity to help shape and develop our finishing capabilities rather than simply spraying parts all day.

Pay
£15-18 per hour depending on experience.
