An exciting opportunity has become available to work within Supported Employment in the Adults Health and Integration department. The position is for 37 hours per week over a Monday to Friday working pattern.

You are passionate about empowering people with disabilities, health conditions and those from disadvantaged backgrounds to achieve their goals and move closer to meaningful, paid work. You understand the challenges they may face and bring a compassionate, person‑centred approach to helping individuals build confidence, develop skills, and access the right opportunities.
A confident and empathetic communicator, you can engage with people from all backgrounds and tailor your support to their needs. You have hands‑on experience of Supported Employment or working with people with disabilities, and you use this insight to provide high‑quality, strengths‑based guidance.
Highly organised and detail‑focused, you can manage a varied caseload while maintaining accurate records and a professional, proactive approach.
Above all, you’re someone who builds positive, trusting relationships — with the people you support, employers, partner organisations, and colleagues at every level.

The successful candidate will have:
- Extensive knowledge of supported employment and supporting customers with disabilities, long term health conditions or other disadvantage;
- Excellent IT skills, including experience of using CRM systems to effectively to maintain high‑quality, up‑to‑date participant records
- A high degree of interpersonal skills;
- The ability to converse at ease with customers, employers and other agencies;
- Excellent organisational skills and a flexible approach to work;
- Knowledge of the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) and/or the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Framework;
Experience working with disadvantaged groups and ex‑offenders would be highly advantageous.
