Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Coffee Shop Manager to lead our vibrant team and ensure the smooth operation of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a busy coffee shop environment.

A background in coffee shops, supervising experience, and familiarity with food safety standards are highly desirable. The Coffee Shop Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and team cohesion.

Duties

Oversee daily coffee shop operations, ensuring efficient service and high standards of quality.
Manage and supervise staff.
Coordinate food preparation and cooking processes to meet customer demands while maintaining food safety regulations.
Lead team management initiatives such as training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated work environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations across all areas of the shop.
Organise inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels for food production and beverage ingredients.
Maintain excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Implement operational procedures to optimise workflow and minimise waste.
Support marketing efforts through promotional activities and community engagement initiatives.

Experience

Proven supervisory experience within a coffee shop setting is essential.
Experience working as a barista or in hospitality roles such as serving or hotel management is preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining hygiene standards is important.
