Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Hair Stylist , braider, loctician, barber, pedicurist, nail tech, lash techbraiders to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hairdressing , braiding , wig installing , dreadlocks , barbing combined with excellent customer service skills. This role offers the opportunity to work in a creative environment, providing a range of hair and beauty services to clients. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality styling, colouring, and specialised treatments, while creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Duties
- Providing customised haircuts, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments to clients
- Offering additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application
- Delivering exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and preferences
- Managing front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling and client consultations
- Mentoring junior staff members and assisting with training programmes
- Upselling products and services to enhance client satisfaction and maximise revenue
- Maintaining a clean, organised work station in compliance with health and safety standards
- Assisting with store management tasks when required to ensure smooth salon operations
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within a busy salon environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and services confidently
- Experience in store management or supervisory roles is desirable but not essential
- A passion for ongoing professional development in hairdressing and beauty trends
