Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as WEEKEND Bar Staff. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to patrons, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role is MOSTLY WEEKEND bar staff and through the week, night shifts. Alternate.

Duties

Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct delivery of drinks
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to food safety regulations
Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system with accuracy
Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages
Assist in setting up and clearing down the bar area during shifts
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment and promote special offers or events

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or serving roles is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
Organisation skills to keep the bar area clean, tidy, and well-stocked
A friendly personality with a positive attitude and team spirit
