Piano Teacher – Join Our Rockstar Teaching Team

Saturdays – availability required for 5–7 hours (9am start)
£18–£23 per hour (starting at £18ph for new team)
Part-time | Reliable weekly hours | 5.6 weeks paid holiday

Are you a fun-loving, charismatic, and young-at-heart piano teacher who loves making children feel like rockstars? Anthem Music School is looking for a creative and passionate teacher to join our growing team.

This role would suit someone looking for stable, long-term teaching hours within a supportive and growing music school environment.

What We Offer

A reliable timetable with 48 weeks of scheduled teaching per year
5.6 weeks of paid holiday
Current available hours: 5 hours with the view to extend this to a 7 hour teaching day

A fun, game-based learning environment designed to inspire students

Role Responsibilities

Teach small group piano lessons (maximum of 4 students per class)
Deliver engaging, exciting lessons with a pop/rock focus
Encourage and support students aged 5+ and adults
Prepare teaching materials (print music/lyrics), set practice goals, and write brief lesson notes
Assist with opening and closing the building when required
Inspire students to take part in performances and events

Ideal Candidate

Confident and friendly with a passion for teaching music
Able to create a fun and engaging learning environment
Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
Looking to build something long term and become part of a growing team
Strong music reading ability essential
Grade 8 level or equivalent playing standard (desirable)
Degree in Music, Music Technology or Music Performance (desirable)
Teaching experience is a plus, but training can be provided
Hobby musicians and experienced players are both welcome to apply
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
