Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and a keen eye for quality control. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team, ensuring production targets are met efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating workflows, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to meet daily operational goals.
Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are upheld.
Provide guidance and support to team members, including training on machinery, tools, and safety procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to identify maintenance needs or hazards.
Organise shift schedules, assign tasks, and manage workflow to optimise productivity.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimise downtime.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Maintain accurate records of production output, incidents, and equipment maintenance.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand machinery operation and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience in assembly processes and warehouse operations is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Relevant qualifications in engineering, manufacturing technology or related fields are advantageous. This position is integral to maintaining smooth production flow while fostering a safe working environment. Pay: £29,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
