Support Worker / Bank Staff – Supported Accommodation (Ofsted Registered)

Location: Lancashire (Nelson & surrounding areas)
Shifts: Day & Night Shifts Available (Flexible / Bank)
Pay: Competitive rates (dependent on experience)

The Role

We are looking for passionate and reliable Support Workers / Bank Staff to join our growing team across Lancashire.

This role involves supporting young people with a range of needs, including:

Emotional and mental health challenges
Developing independence and life skills
Building positive routines and relationships

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support to young people in a residential setting
Support with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, budgeting)
Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and independence
Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
Maintain accurate records and reports in line with Ofsted standards
Support young people to attend appointments and engage with services
Ensure the home operates in accordance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards

Shift Patterns

Day Shifts: Supporting daily routines and activities
Night Shifts (Waking Nights): Ensuring safety, monitoring, and responding to any needs overnight
Flexible bank work available to suit your availability

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with young people (preferred but not essential)
Knowledge or understanding of Ofsted regulations and standards (highly desirable)
Understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed care
Calm, patient, and resilient approach
Ability to manage challenging behaviour professionally
Good communication and teamwork skills
Full UK driving licence (desirable)
