We're looking for a skilled Domestic Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out servicing and installation of single and multi-split systems in customers' homes across the North West. The ideal candidate is dual-trade - someone who has moved between air conditioning and domestic gas (in either direction) and holds, or is working towards, their gas ACS.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Installing single and multi-split air conditioning systems in domestic properties
- Servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on domestic AC systems
- Refrigerant pipework, brazing, evacuation and commissioning to manufacturer specification
- Working safely with refrigerant in line with F-Gas requirements
- Where qualified: carrying out domestic gas servicing and boiler work alongside our heating team
- Working to RAMS, safe isolation and manufacturer instructions
- Delivering a tidy, professional, customer-facing service in people's homes
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Essential:
- Proven experience installing and servicing single and multi-split air conditioning in domestic properties
- F-Gas Category I (City & Guilds 2079 or equivalent) - required to handle refrigerant
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, presentable and confident working in customers' homes
Ideal / Desirable:
- ACS domestic gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT) and current Gas Safe registration
- A dual-trade background - AC engineer who has moved into gas, or a gas engineer who has up-skilled into air conditioning
- Electrical competence / 18th Edition for AC connections
- Strong fault-diagnosis skills across both AC and heating
