Production Team Lead – CNC Group / All Things Personalised
We are looking for a hands-on Production Team Lead to join CNC Group / All Things Personalised at our Brandon site.
This role would suit someone who is organised, practical, reliable and comfortable leading a small production team in a fast-paced order fulfilment environment.
Hours
Sunday to Wednesday
11:30am – 10:30pm
40 hours per week, with 1 hour of unpaid breaks each day.
Role Overview
The main responsibility of the Production Team Lead is to ensure that all customer orders are produced, packed and completed on time each day.
You will be working directly on the production floor, operating our robot production line, packing line and manual production machines, while also coordinating the team to keep orders moving smoothly through picking, production, quality checking and packing.
This is a hands-on leadership role, so you will be expected to lead by example, support the team, solve day-to-day production issues and make sure the shift runs efficiently from start to finish.
Main Duties
- Operating the robot production line and packing line
- Running manual production machines where required
- Coordinating the team to ensure orders flow smoothly through production
- Picking products and ensuring the correct items are supplied to production
- Ensuring all orders are completed accurately and on time each day
- Carrying out quality checks on personalised products before dispatch
- Supporting, training and guiding team members during the shift
- Monitoring progress throughout the day and reallocating work where needed
- Keeping production areas tidy, organised and safe
- Reporting machine issues, stock shortages or production delays
- Loading the collection lorry at the end of each shift once forklift trained
Training
Forklift training and licence will be provided, as the role includes loading the collection lorry at the end of each shift.
Full training will also be provided on our internal production processes, robot line, packing line and machinery.
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working Sunday to Wednesday, 11:30am–10:30pm
- Organised and able to keep production moving under pressure
- A good communicator who can coordinate a team
- Hands-on and willing to get involved in all areas of production
- Accurate, with good attention to detail
- Confident using machinery or willing to learn
- Able to work safely in a warehouse/production environment
- Comfortable with physical work, standing, lifting and moving products during the shift
Previous experience in production, warehouse, fulfilment, manufacturing, team leading or machine operation would be beneficial, but attitude, reliability and the ability to lead by example are just as important.
