Full job description

ichiban UK is a privately owned sushi manufacturer producing own label and branded sushi for the UK market .

We are looking for a Roll Cutting Team Leader at our site in Earl Stonham, near Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich.

Transport- We have a bus service running from Ipswich to site for all shift patterns (£7.50 for a return ticket).

Shift pattern is a rotating 2 week pattern: Week 1 - Thursday to Saturday 06:00 - 18:00 and Week 2: Wednesday to Saturday 06:00 - 18:00

This roles also attracts premium payments for weekend working and is on a guaranteed hours contracts. Full training for the successful candidates will be provided.

The Role Duties;

Management of operations within the Roll Cutting Room Area
Management of workers within area in line with Company Policies and Procedures in a professional manner
Follow the production planning schedules to achieve plan attainment within all KPI specifications and quality standards
Ensure all staff in areas are trained and competent; liaising with the Training Department
Ensure all prep documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
Involvement in problem solving and process improvement, including NCR resolution and other projects
Ability to deputise for Area Leader

Person Spec:

Excellent level of English and numeracy and ichiban UK training
Good communication skills
Ability to follow plans, instructions and work to tight deadlines
Good knowledge of process and machinery
Computer Literate

Pay Rates

£14.23 per hour.

Additionally a £10 bonus per Saturday shift worked.
