Overview
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, possess excellent organisational skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees and teas, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks as required
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders efficiently and accurately, addressing customer queries with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately and handling transactions efficiently
- Restock supplies and organise workstations to ensure smooth daily operations
- Uphold food safety standards at all times, ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure a seamless customer experience
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for those new to the role
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing stock levels
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Friendly, approachable manner with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service
