Main Purpose of Role
Based within the Intelligence Department, you will provide strategic, tactical and operational support via the provision of clear and concise intelligence products.
Working within an intelligence-led and problem-solving environment, you will be responsible for effective analysis aimed at identifying threats and reducing the risk of harm.
An understanding around data and an excellent working knowledge of Excel is essential. You will provide information to support criminal investigations and formulate recommendations and inferences that will help shape our response.
Who are we looking for? You will have a keen analytical mind and enjoy adding insight to raw data. You will be skilled in the use of computer-based systems and will be adept in the extraction and manipulation of data, information processing and presentation software. You will be a skilled report writer and a pro-active, dynamic, creative thinker who is experienced at working to specified deadlines within a fluid environment. Attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills are vital to the role, as is the ability to work as part of a small team.
There is a requirement to present analytical findings at court to support successful prosecutions.
